#PONSONBY BASEMENTPROJECT Gibs up! Waterproofing/screeds started! Because these are side by side and a seperate unit up stairs there's alot of fire protection you need to do. All fire seal and stopping. 2 layers of 13mm gib. Intumescent pads in steel powerboxes/light switches . Fireproof led lights. Custom show mixer setups with intumescent sealant and fire collars. ( Interesting to find out there is no mixer that has a approved test and system to their units) You have to install it into a fire box to make the system fire proof with collars on each inlet and outlet 🤦

#PONSONBY BASEMENT CONVERSION Stripped all the gib off the walls to insulate and re wire. Packed out the existing wall so the old concrete base wasn't exposed and was flat and 👌. Which meant extending the jams 🤙🤙 biscuit joined , Glued, filled and sanded! Looks better than a brought one 😎
